Early this year, the Mage-OS Nederland association was founded to facilitate the Magento community in The Netherlands. And weeks ago, we decided that the Yireo event MageUnconference Netherlands (June 2023) should be placed under the same flag. And to make the association work and to finance the unconference, we need funding.

The current Magento Academy has only begun two weeks ago. And our new office is still smelling like new IKEA. But we are planning for something else: A Shopware Academy (Dutch only) is going to kickstart in June to help onboard new developers. And registration is open.

Slowly activity is increasing with the new Dutch association of Mage-OS Nederland. After initial meetings, a first member meeting in January, we are now taking the next move: Organizing a traditional meetup at the end of the first day of the yearly Dutch Webwinkel Vakdagen - which is already Wednesday, March 29th 2023.

We are psyched! The last couple of months we have been working slowly to this moment: Starting early March, we will organize a Yireo Academy for Magento developers, lasting 8 weeks, with a group of people ranging from 7 to 13 (I'll explain that). And it might be the start for much more to come.
